SDCC!!!
SDCC, HERE I COME
I'm pleased as punch to announce that I'll be doing TWO signings and ONE panel (Sunday morning) at San Diego comic con on July 11th and 12th. I don't charge for anything unless you want a Chip Zdarsky style hug for a full minute, and then it's $1000 to pay my therapy bills. I'll be signing cards, I think, possibly for Supervillains Anonymous, and of course any paperbacks they have or you bring. I'll sign casts, dog collars, bits of scrap paper, programs, your face, your arm, your leg, and your friend.(Just remember: at NYCC they were giving out free e-copies of SUPERHEROES ANONYMOUS, so if you stop by the booth or come to my signing, you could PROBABLY get free e-copies of the sequel)
Without further ado, my schedule:
Saturday, July 11th: Signing in the HarperCollins Booth
Time: 11:00 - 11:30 a.m.Room: #1029 Booth
The fabulous Nick Cole and I will be signing our books in booth #1029!
Sunday, July 12th: No Cape Required: Modern Day Superheroes
Time: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.Room: 25ABC
It's the age of the superhero! From movies to television to books, every superhero gets his or her day. But sometimes it's the people you least expect who become heroes right in front of you. Pierce Brown (Red Rising), James Dashner (The Maze Runner, Scorch Trials), Marie Lu (The Young Elites), Lexie Dunne (Supervillains Anonymous, Superheroes Anonymous), Noelle Stevenson (Nimona) (!!!!!!) and Robert Venditti (Miles Taylor and the Golden Cape 1: Attack of the Alien Horde) discuss crafting an original superhero narrative, debate the best superpower and explore what it takes to be a true hero. Moderated by Sarah Kuhn (Heroine Complex).
Sunday, July 12th: Signing with other panelists
Time: 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.Room: AA09
I'll have swag! And I'll be signing with other really cool people!
